Holiday Social at Brandywine Kitchen

In early 2022, we became part of the vibrant Whatcom STEM community, seeking like-minded individuals with whom we could exchange insights and knowledge. Fast forward to October 2023, and the official establishment of Cascade STEAM took place—an exciting nonprofit committed to advancing digital equity and literacy for everyone, with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM).
On the night of 12/13 during the holiday social we engaged with numerous passionate individuals. What resonated with everyone was a shared commitment to disseminating knowledge and fostering common interests to enhance our local community.
Looking to 2024.
Cascade STEAM is gearing up to launch initiatives and establish partnerships with individuals and organizations, all aimed at effectively serving the community's diverse interests. Whether reaching out to businesses, students, or the local public, Cascade STEAM envisions itself as a valuable resource for the underserved.
At Hightower, we share a similar commitment to our local community, striving to cultivate connections and nurture partnerships. Our plans with Cascade STEAM will be focused on technology outreach, where we aim to contribute accessible resources. This ensures that their community can enjoy the same advantages as organizations with dedicated technology staff.
We eagerly anticipate participating in more social events organized by Cascade STEAM and providing the necessary resources to enhance the community's technology literacy and footprint.
